He worked as a researcher at the Telecommunications Research Institute (TKI) from 1968. He developed a complete design and manufacturing program package for printed circuits in one of the well-known development activities of the Computer Science Department, the Automatic Design, Manufacturing and Inspection of Circuits (so-called AuTer) system.
In 1981, he defended his PhD thesis entitled "Theory of Machine Design of Highly Complex Electronic Circuits Produced with Layer Technology" at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

From 1982, he conducted research in the Theory of Electronic Design, Manufacturing, and Control Systems group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Computer Science and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI).

Between 1993 and 2006, he worked at Matáv with a minor interruption, first in the Business Communication Service Management department, and later in the Product Management department, where he was responsible for the introduction of new telecommunications services (e.g. ISDN, Internet, cable television, managed leased line service, ATM).
