Internet Fiesta 2022
In 2022, it will be the 22nd year that libraries have organized Internet Fiesta programs in March. The Informatics and Library Association – with the support of the National Cultural Fund – is once again encouraging institutions to organize coordinated events. Over the decades, the internet has become a part of our everyday lives. It provides useful information, knowledge-developing content and games that support work and learning for almost all age groups. Today, the aim of the events is - in addition to spreading digital literacy and presenting the widest possible range of uses of the internet - to introduce and popularize artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart solutions. This year's festival programs will take place between March 17 and 24, 2022, in person and virtually. Our suggested topics for the programs: Artificial intelligence and libraries Digital knowledge development Security in physical and digital space Robotics, Big Data, Internet of Things, Blockchain Smart healthcare, education, society Operating knowledge sharing The topics can be joined with lectures, games, and presentations. We ask the county libraries to help the libraries in their region to organize the program successfully and to involve their small settlement service providers as well.
