BJMT Jubilee Traveling Assembly
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Bolyai János Mathematical Society, a Jubilee Traveling Meeting was held in Szeged on September 21-23, 1957, at which there was also a significant section on "Mathematical Logic and the Theory of Mathematical Machines". One of the plenary speakers at the conference was László Kalmár. The title of his presentation was "The Logic Machine of Szeged". The following speakers, among others, presented in the section: András Ádám: "Graph Theory Problems Related to Electrical Networks", Tibor Bakos: "On Combinatorial Questions Related to the State Changes of Signal Relays", Tamás Frey: "Notes on the Operation of Analog Machines", Sándor Székely-Dobi: "Description of the Relay Calculator Built at the Wired Telecommunication Department of the Budapest University of Technology" and Rezső Tarján: "Some Questions on the Classification of Logic Machines".
Sándor Székely-Dobi's presentation was (perhaps) the first presentation on the Kozma machine.
The detailed program of the conference, with short summaries, can be found in the 1958 volume of Matematikai Lapok, on pages 165-184 and 334-340.
