The compilation entitled Fifty Years, One Hundred Pages is the Picture Book of the 50th anniversary of the Hungarian Society of Social Sciences. The flip-book features some of the characters and events of 50 years, on 100 pages, in pictures. For each year, we selected two pages from the pictures in our archive belonging to that year. We strived to present important events and people that define the character of the Society and the main arcs of its history. The book is not a history book with scientific claims, but a subjective “experience journey” reflecting the joint achievements and successes of 50 years.

The main role in the Picture Book is played by the pictures, so there was no space for explaining events, connections, abbreviations, or introducing the characters. Therefore, the dear reader will find the resolution of the institution's names, abbreviations, and a brief introduction to the characters in a separate explanation of names.
