The John Neumann Computer Science Society decided on the project-based creation of the Hungarian Informatics History Database on November 13, 2013. The system plan prepared in 2014 by the Expert Team led by Károly Megyery (János Ballai, Eleonóra Dettai, Bálint Dömölki, Miklós Havass, Eszter Kertészné Gérecz, Tamás Koltai, László Kutor, Károly Megyery) reflects the initial state.
