• The POLIGON Engineering Office was founded in 1989 through the independence of a unit of the then state-owned design institute, Vegyterv, which specialized in chemical industrial designs.
• VEGYTERV IS Zrt. is based on the traditions and experiences of VEGYTERV Zrt. and EL&ME Irányítástechnika Kft.
• SZILTERV Engineering Service and Consulting Ltd. was founded in 2003, the three founders (István Albert, János Bodor, István Kovács) previously worked at VEGYTERV.

István Száva: the Tisza Chemical Plant (TVK) Paint Factory, the Taurus Rubber Factory Calender Hall and Coat Warehouse, and the Debrecen Plastics Processing Factory were built based on his designs, among others.
