UniSoftware System House Ltd.
Unisoftware chose a "more difficult" path when it started, not dealing with HW sales, but with software developments that were integrated into the customer's operating process and brought them benefits.
Together with Debis, the company offers its IT system packages in the fields of industry, telecommunications, financial services, trade, transportation, public transport and government and public service sectors.
The company's key goals also include becoming a leading general contractor in the government/public service, financial services, and transportation sectors.
The company's significant successes are due to the fact that in 1998-1999, by joining forces with the German company Debis, the services of Debis IT Services Unisoftware expanded to include consulting (Plan), development (Build) and operation (Run) of a wide range of IT solutions. At the German partner company, operation already represented a significant part (approximately 64 percent) during this period, and the goal was set for Run's sales revenue in Hungary to represent approximately 30 percent by 2002. The parent company also considers it its main task by 2002 to place half of its orders abroad, thereby becoming Europe's leading - manufacturer-independent - IT service provider, with sales revenue of approximately 10 billion marks.
- László Vinkovits, Deputy Managing Director 1994-2004
- László Vinkovits, also CEO of Debis IT Services Hungary holding company. Since 1999
- János Mátyásfalvi, commercial director (sales-marketing manager) since 1998
- Werner Straubinger, Managing Director responsible for planning and controlling, has been with Debis IT Services Unisoftware since 1999.
As a development tool, Uniface 4GL technology was represented as a partner of Debis IT Services (Daimler Inter Services), the largest German system house.
Among the larger projects of Unioftware and Debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft., it is worth mentioning: Posta, ÁPV Rt. can be mentioned as an example, where the company is introducing the appropriate modules of Business Assistant for the financial-controlling system. Financial institution applications are a relatively new business line in the life of Debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft., and they are already working on a large-scale task with the Frankfurt Banking Competence Center at CIB Bank. Debis's classic field of expertise is transportation. After the conquest of BKV, Debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. built itself up at the Volán companies, first at Kisalföldi Volán, but successful advanced negotiations were also held at Pannon Volán, Volánbusz, Tisza Volán, Borsod Volán, Alba Volán and Vértes Volán.
DITSU was commissioned to "customize" general office management systems from Westel 900, TVK, Pannon GMS, OTP.
In the field of economic systems, they rely on SAP R/3 and Business Assistant, which can be joined by Uniface target systems, Staffware workflow-based server systems, PCDOCS document management, Fulcrum information management, and system management implemented with CA Unicenter, operational security and data protection provided by CompuWare EcoSystems. Debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. builds all of this together like a puzzle, as a true system integrator, assembling target, office, system management and security systems built around basic economic processes.
László Vinkovits founded Unisoftware Rendszerház in 1994, 90 percent of which was acquired by Debis Systemhaus, one of the leading IT service providers in the German market, in 1998. From then on, he was the managing director of Debis IT Services Hungary Kft., and remained the manager of the company, which became a joint-stock company in January 2001.
The company's Hungarian subsidiary, debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. (DITSU), was founded in the fall of 1998, merging Unisoftware Rendszerház Kft.
This event is a solar eclipse, which represents a rare and never-to-be-repeated conjunction of three planets. The first half of 1999 was characterized by a process that will probably never be repeated in the lives of the owners and employees of Unisoftware Rendszerház Kft.: following the acquisition at the end of last year, the company merged with Debis IT Services, Germany's largest, manufacturer-independent information technology service provider, a member of the DaimlerChrysler Services (Debis) AG group. Debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. wants to connect this unique and unrepeatable process to an event that only happens once in each of our lives: together with SAP Hungary and Microsoft Hungary (as the other two actors of the unique conjunction), it invites its business partners on a boat trip to the area of the total solar eclipse, to view this unique and unrepeatable natural phenomenon with its partners while sailing to the area of the total solar eclipse.
debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. (DITSU) has acquired Eurorg Consulting Kft. Within DITSU, the former CEO of Eurorg, Sándor Pék, will take over the management of SAP sales. With the new manager, the acquiring company will begin implementing its acquisition and expansion plans in Hungary.
2006-2007-ben
After the merger of the German owner of debis IT Services Unisoftware Rendszerház Kft into T-Systems, the company became the Hungarian leg of T-Systems, but this company also went through many transformations during that time.
A new company, a new brand name, is appearing on the Hungarian IT market, T-Systems, a joint venture formed by DaimlerChrysler Services AG and Deutsche Telekom. The two Hungarian debis companies, debis IT Services Unisoftware Kft. and debis IT Services Dataware Kft., bear the T-Systems brand name.
In 2007, László Vinkovits, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of T-Systems Hungary, left T-Systems Hungary Kft., whose legal predecessor, Unisoftware Rendszerháza, he founded in 1995 and managed as CEO until 2004, and will in the future represent Beta Systems Software AG in Hungary and South-Eastern Europe, effective April 1.
But that's another story about T-System.
In mid-October 2000, on the birthday of Debis IT Services Hungary Ltd., led by László Vinkovits, the company organized a concert in the Great Hall of the Academy of Music, where they performed two Brahms works, the D minor and the B major piano concerto. The occasion was special, as the latter piece had its world premiere in 1881 at the Pesti Vigadó, and the composer himself played the piano.
He was the IT Manager of the Year in 1998. László Vinkovits.
