Qwerty Computer Ltd. is one of the oldest companies in Hungarian computer technology, founded in 1984. It offers exceptional quality primarily in the following product groups:
- self-manufactured PCs built from carefully selected, reliable components based on many years of experience with a 3 or even 5 year warranty (primarily under the Quentium brand),
- self-manufactured notebooks (under the IQ notebook brand) made from semi-finished imported raw materials "to measure" according to the customer's wishes,
- photo, laser and inkjet printers, high-performance projectors from the Japanese Epson, famous for its cutting-edge technical solutions, in the Epson brand store offering the widest selection in Budapest,
- digital cameras from Olympus, well known for their excellent technical parameters,

Since the 1990s, it has been different from other IT retailing companies with a new strategy, because while only one or two of its contemporaries and peers are left on the market, Qwerty has remained, developed unabated, and last year celebrated the opening of its fifth store. The company, which now offers complete systems, computer networks, and internet solutions, is still based where it was in the past, and the newer stores are conveniently located in the most diverse and busiest parts of Budapest, not one of them in the most visited shopping centers today,
Epson is the most significant in Qwerty's offering, with roughly a quarter of all revenue coming from the distribution of this brand.
Qwerty Computer Ltd. has been present on the domestic computer market since 1984, which is already a very respectable past considering this profession. The company started in 1984 with a share capital of only 4,000 HUF, and like computer companies at that time, its main activity was custom software development. Towards the end of the eighties – again like computer companies at that time – Qwerty also started selling hardware and boxed software, as well as peripherals in addition to PCs, and the fruits of the work carried out under the slogan “we are there on every computer keyboard” did not remain.
