    Its main goal: to establish leadership training centers in countries. One component of this development project was content development, i.e. the development of leadership training methodology and educational materials and their adaptation in Hungary.

    They have developed various corporate applications for large companies and share their experiences with managers on how to apply modern technology in their companies. That is why they have developed a so-called base corporate system in OVK, not only for IT.

    1966: (foundation) OVK

    1970-74: OVK- COMPUTER

    75-85: MÜM -SZÁMTI (split from OVK, became the Computer Institute of the Ministry of Labor (MÜM). It continued to create management training applications, but also worked directly for the ministry and had its own market activities. It undertook work for an external company for money.

    81-91: ÁBNHMIK (the Ministry of Labor and its computer center were abolished in October 1981). The 200-person company had to be reduced to 80 people. This became MIK. Until the change of regime, this was the background institution of the High Labor Authority, the State Wage and Labor Office.

    Interesting facts

    The ICL 1905E type machine used by the OVK was embargoed for other Hungarian applications. It was only sold to Hungary because it served educational and research purposes.
