NetWare network operating system

During 2008, the National Blood Service replaced its IT system with a Linux-based, outsourced thin client architecture with the help of Novell specialists.

The Broadband Program was implemented by the authority under strict conditions and under a controlled public procurement procedure. The lowest bidder among the companies applying in the public procurement procedure was awarded the contract. This contractor was Novell Magyarország Kft. It allows the main characteristics of broadband services provided in Hungary to be verified using an independent database containing the results of regular measurements by the NMHH and users, and continuously verified by the authority's experts.

Before 2012, it operated under the name Novell Hungary, offering enterprise solutions from workstations to data centers.

It was subsequently acquired by The Attachmate Group, and from April 2012, in addition to Novell and SUSE products, the company's portfolio was expanded with NetIQ's high-quality, enterprise security solutions.
