Telecommunication Cooperative
Development and installation of television measuring and testing instruments, studio and industrial television systems and equipment.
It began developing the building blocks of cable television systems in 1983. In addition to the production of individual building blocks for cable television headends and studios, the development program also resulted in the creation of distribution network building blocks, among other things.
- Lajos Köveskuti, president (1973-1992)
- Imre Mécs, development engineer
- Laszlo Koller, developer
A HT1080ZThe computer was made by the Broadcasting Cooperative for the first school computer competition, which it won. It was a licensed product – the original was the Tandy TRS 80 Model I, manufactured by the Hong Kong company EACA under the name Video Genie – and the domestic version was based on it. Most high schools were equipped with this machine with state funding.
Communications K-832
One of the very first pocket calculators with domestic connections, distributed by the Híradástechnika Szövetkezet. Licensed production of the Canadian Bowmar MX-55 calculator, the original device began in 1974, and the HT production began around 1975/76. The original electronics were modified, and two ICs were replaced with discrete components that were much cheaper in our country at the time, but the essence is the same. A small device of good quality and workmanship, powered by 3 rechargeable NiCd battery cells, with basic functions, and an 8-digit LED display
The Híradástechnika Szóvetkezet (Híradástechnika Szóvetkezet) contributed greatly to the domestic spread of pocket calculators, as it has manufactured about 20 types of calculators from 1973 to the present, a total of 100-110 thousand units.
PTK—1096 calculator
This calculator is the most modern calculator type of the Híradástechnika Szóvetkezet, which is a pocket calculator, a programmable scientific pocket calculator that can be operated from a battery and is available for a retail price of 24,800 HUF.
It also manufactured monitors, high-quality TV systems, and other electronic components.
Many other companies dealing with telecommunications and electronics were created from HT, many of which are still in operation today. e.g.: Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (The company was founded by OMFB, MTA, Híradástechnika Szövetkezet and Budapest Bank in 1989 to produce professional printed circuit boards.)
In the semi-professional field, in addition to the necessary monitoring, mixing, adjustment, etc. equipment, a wide variety of cameras are used, some of which meet very special needs (e.g. high-sensitivity cameras that can "see" in the dark).
The HT-3080C computer was sold to secondary schools by the Híradástechnika Szóvetkezet for 28,000 HUF in 1986.
