  • After completing his university studies, he began working at the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where a Soviet Ural-type computer was installed at the time. It was Ferenc Sándor who sparked his interest in computers.

    He soon moved to the Computing Center of the Institute of Industrial Economics and Plant Management of the National Institute of Management of the Hungarian

    Following the transformations at the NIM IGÜSZI Computing Center, he moved to the computing center of the Institute of Industrial Economics, Organization and Computer Technology (KGM ISZSZI) of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Industry, where he participated in the optimization of corporate processes in the department of Gábor Lugosi - including solving the optimal cutting problems of the metal elements of the Dunai Vasmű.

    After that, at the invitation of György Szakolczai, he worked at the Econometrics Laboratory of the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki), where he dealt with the establishment and development of econometric models.

    Finally, he moved to the Department of Sectoral Relations Balances of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), where he was responsible for the creation, use and programming of sectoral relations balances. He retired from there in 2005.

    He participated in several Hungarian and international conferences on mathematics, artificial intelligence, operations research, and statistics - including in Moscow, Linz, Berlin, Bonn, The Hague, and Wiesbaden.

    He contributed to the preparation of an analytical study (see below) on the impact analysis of the collapse of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (KGST) market, for which the authors received a Presidential Award.
