    Between 1959 and 1961 he worked as a substation editor at the Electric Power Plant Company (alongside university, 18 hours a week). From 1961 to 1967 he was an energy engineer and technical inspector at the Kőbányai Könnyűfémmű Ltd.

    Between 1967 and 1974, he participated in computer hardware developments as a scientific associate at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Automation Research Institute (AKI) and then at the Computer Science and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI). In 1973, he obtained his doctorate in digital technology from the Hungarian University of Technology.

    Between 1974 and 1991, he participated in system and software development as a senior scientific fellow at the Hardware Laboratory (HWL) of the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI). He was the designer of SZKI's first product, the MEDICOR bag diagnostic system, which won the BNV Grand Prize in 1975; and he was also the designer of the optical CNC (Computer Numerical Control) profile grinding software.

    Between 1991 and 1992, he participated in the development of numerically controlled CNC machine tools at Micronetics Europe.

    Between 1993 and 1994, he wrote books on information security and neural networks.

    Between 1996 and 2000, he was an information security scientific advisor at the Ministry of Defense Electronics, Logistics and Asset Management Co. (HM EI Co.). Between 2000 and 2002, he worked on the development of expert systems at the Information and Communications Authority. From 2002 to 2017, he participated in the development and implementation of a lightning protection expert system.

    Meanwhile, he continuously performed specialized translation and proofreading work for the National Technical Library (OMK).

    He has several computer hardware patents, two technical books, and dozens of independent publications to his name.

    His awards: BNV Grand Prize (1975); Diploma and Commemorative Medal of the President of the Republic (1992).
