Peter Vityi
After graduating from university, he worked as a software engineer at Asea Brown Bovery in Sweden in 1989, working on real-time process control.
In 1991, at the then-starting Digital Hungary Kft., he held product support, project management and finally sales management positions.
From 1994 to 2010, he was first a corporate director at Microsoft Hungary, then a managing director between 2001 and 2007, and finally the regional corporate operations director from 2007. He also held a management position (business excellence) at Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe Headquarters (CEEHQ) in Munich.
Since 2018, he has been the Managing Director of the Horn Academy. Since 2010, he has been the Managing Director of Ness Hungary, and then, with 3 colleagues, he founded Transround Kft., a startup that creates innovative solutions for launching mobile applications.
His main areas of interest are the digital economy and export capacity – he is a regular conference speaker in these areas.
Since 2013, with 27 years of IT corporate experience, he has been the Vice President of the Association of IT Enterprises (IVSZ). He is also the professional leader of the Digital Export strategy development part of the Digital Welfare Program.
In 2004, he received the Gyúrós Tibor Award from the IVSZ as IT Manager of the Year. In 2003 and 2006, the Microsoft Hungary he led won the award for Best Workplace of the Year.
