Péter Vadász
Between 1970 and 1978 he worked at the International Computer Education and Information Center (Számok). Between 1978 and 1983 he was a department manager at Volán Elektronika Vállalat.
In 1983, he participated in the founding of the Microsystem Számítástechnikai Kisszövetkezet; initially he was the leader of one of the four independent groups that founded the cooperative, and then the vice president. After the enterprise was transformed into a joint-stock company, he was the president and CEO of the company until 1993. After that, he retired and worked in his own consulting firm.
Between 1990 and 1997, he was the former president of the Hungarian branch of the international foundation Business Leaders Forum, founded by Charles, Prince of Wales. He was a former vice-president of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) and the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK); from 1995, he was the co-president of the National Federation of Employers and Industrialists (MGYOSZ).
- Between 1990 and 2000, he was the president of the Hungarian branch of Transparency International.
- He was the Honorary Consul of Lithuania between 1990 and 2005.
