Ferenc Trethon
From March 1948, he was the auditor of the audit department of the Hungarian State Coal Mines Co. (MÁSZ). From May 1948 to April 1952, he was the head of the audit department, deputy head of the investment department of the Coal Mining Industry Directorate, deputy head of the department and chief auditor of the Audit Department of the General Accounting Office of the Ministry of Coal Mining. He was the head of the Finance and Audit Department of the Ministry of Heavy Industry (NM), and between 1967 and 1974, he was the head of the Economics Department.
He was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance in March 1974, and from June 24, 1977 to September 30, 1981, he was Minister of Labor in the government of György Lázár.
From 1982 until his retirement in 1991, he was the director of the Institute of Business Economics and Organization at the University of Chemical Industry of Veszprém (VVE). From 1989 to 1995, he was the first vice-president of the European Council for Management Sciences. From 1981 to 1989, he was the co-president of the Association of Technical and Natural Science Associations (MTESZ), and from 1983 to 1996, he was the president of the Organization and Management Society (SZVT).
