    Between 1958 and 1968, he was an assistant at the Central Research Laboratory of Metrology (MKKL), then the scientific head of the Measurement Theory Department; in 1963, he also filed a service patent.

    Between 1968 and 1979, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Instrumentation and Measurement Technology (MMT) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology (BME). In 1972, he earned his doctorate, and then taught the subject of General Metrology as an associate professor. Later, he developed the subject of Design of Digital Logic Networks, as well as postgraduate subjects: Information Theory; Simulation.
    He was the acting head of the BME Computer Applications Center between 1979 and 1981. He received his habilitation doctorate in computer science in 2005.

    Between 1981 and 1986, he was the head of the operations department at the Organizational Planning and Informatics Center (ESZTIK) of the Ministry of Health.

    At the Federal Polytechnic Yola/Mubi College & University in Nigeria, he was first a lecturer and then as Head of Department he led the then-established Department of Mathematics & Computer Technology. He had to teach everything from Electrical Engineering to Measurement Engineering to Logic Networks.

    From 1986 to 1988, he was the head of the Hardware Department of the Computer Center of the Hungarian Cable Works.

    Between 1989 and 1992, he was the director of the Computer Technology Institute (SZGTI) of the Kandó Kálmán Technical College (KKMF) in Székesfehérvár, and then from 1993 to 1998, he was the director general of the KKMF. From 1999, he continued teaching at the SZGTI.

    From 2003 to 2005, he was a visiting professor at the Higher Technical Institute in Ramadan City, Egypt, teaching Logical Network Design and Cryptography/Data Protection. He was also invited to give a cryptography seminar at the Military College in Cairo.

    He wrote several university and college notes, also for distance learning purposes. In 1973, his book “Methods of Logical Design” written with Sándor Janovics received a national award; the book was the first Hungarian-language, higher-level basic textbook on the subject, which was used for years. He gave educational lectures in many places.

    Member of the College Principals' Conference (FFK), president in 1995. Co-chair of the Székesfehérvár Regional Enterprise Development Foundation (RVA) since 2005, then a full member since 2018. Member of the President's Club of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference (MRK) since 2009. Member of the NJSZT and the Scientific Association of Measurement Technology and Automation (MATE).

    His awards: János Apáczai Csere Award (Minister of Education, 1997); Kálmán Kandó Memorial Ring (Ministry of Education, 2001); Budapest Technical College Memorial Ring (Ministry of Education, 2003); Hungarian Rectors' Conference Memorial Medal (MRK, 2009); Albert Szent-Györgyi Award (Minister of Education, 2012).
