Zoltán Tihanyi

After graduating from university, his first job was at Hungarian Radio, where he worked as a sound engineer.

Later, he worked in several Hungarian and multinational companies in business and business support positions, where he was able to utilize both his technical and economic knowledge. At first, he mainly dealt with sales support (Motorola, Sagem).
At one time, he was the IT business manager of the Computer Applications Company (Számalk) Educational and Informatics Ltd., but he also worked as an education organization subcontractor for several international companies.

Over time, he became increasingly interested in the relationship between IT and people: how companies organize their IT departments and how professionals work there. This motivated him to take the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Agile Service Management exam and organize business simulations in connection with it. He also obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification.

Since the beginning of 2000, he has been involved in IT education for business leaders, product managers, and holds webinars (web seminars) and workshops.
From November 2020, he was the professional director of the National Institute of Social Sciences for a while.
