Ádám Terták
After graduating from high school, he started working at the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI) in various software positions (from operator to system administrator).
Later, he was the head of the Computer Center at the Institute of Construction Economics and Organization (ÉGSZI).
From 1982, he worked as the director of the Joint Computer Systems Sales Company (SZÁMRED KV) in the field of developing and selling small computer software.
From 1988 he held senior positions at Bonitas Rt., and from 1991 at Ernst & Young Hungary, which evolved from this: he was CEO and then president of the Hungarian office. From 2000 he held European-level senior positions in the company's international network.
From 2004, he became the head of the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Corporation (ITDH) for a year and took on a role in the international development of Hungarian trade.
From 2005, he was the Dean of the Central European University (CEU) Business School.
From 2007 to 2012, he worked as a diplomat in Asia (as Consul General in Hong Kong and as Head of the Hungarian Trade Representation in Taipei).
After the end of his diplomatic mission, he retired and only takes on civil society missions. For example, between 1995 and 1997, he was the Chief Auditor of the National Institute of Statistics.
Awards: Heller Farkas Award (Minister of Finance, 2003); Manager of the Year 2003 (National Association of Managers, 2004).
- AMP (Advanced Manager Program keretében) Executive Master of Business Administration (Harvard Business School, 1997).
- He was the founder of the American Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation in 2001.
- His social roles include: the Rotary Club Budapest City; the Hungarian Association of Transparency International; the United Way Helping Force Foundation; the Hungarian AmCham (American Chambers of Commerce) charity foundation; he assumed the position of chairman of the supervisory board of the Mai Manó House and many other social positions.
