    He earned his degree and doctorate from the Technical University of Dresden. After graduation, he worked as a system administrator at the computer center of the Hungarian Telecommunications Association (MHE).
    He emigrated to Germany in 1978. There he worked as a consultant for the American company Computer Science Corporation (CSC). He then went independent and worked in 33 countries and taught in 14 countries.

    His specialty was network management. He wrote 26 books in 4 languages and published more than 200 professional articles.

    From 1988 to 1990, he was the German president of the non-profit Computer Measurement Group (CMG), an international group of companies. His main jobs included Siemens AG, Commerzbank AG, T-Com Deutschland und Ungarn, IMB Brussels, Walt Disney World, BMW, Ford, Georgia Pacific Atlanta, AT&T, Unisource, Boole and Babbage, Salomon Brothers, Bull and Dresdner Bank.

    He has lectured as a visiting professor at several universities: Stevens Institute of Technology, Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute, SCI San Paulo, and Budapest University of Technology. He has mentored and reviewed several diploma and doctoral theses, including in Munich, Delphi, New York, Budapest, and Nicaragua.

    In 2009, Montclair State University (USA-New Jersey) awarded him a doctorate for deepening Hungarian-American relations.
