    After graduating from university, he joined the Department of Instrumentation and Measurement Technology (MMT) at the Budapest University of Technology (BME), where he worked without interruption; he held the position of deputy head of the department, with a short interruption, until his death.
    Between 1974 and 1978, he was the Deputy Dean for Education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (VIK).

    He participated in the teaching of electronic circuits and instrumentation, and from 1974 he directed the work of the Electronic Circuits group of the department. With a great pedagogical sense, he incorporated many innovations and modernization of the curriculum into the subjects; his lectures were colorful and interesting. Over the years, he wrote a total of 11 notes, partly alone and partly with co-authors. The last two notes, of which he was a co-author and editor, were awarded a quality award in 1989. He developed the subject Computer-aided Design of Electronic Circuits. He was the initiator and then director of the Medical-Biological Measurement Engineering major. As Deputy Dean of Education, he played a significant role in the establishment of full-time engineering training.

    He obtained his doctorate in 1964 and his candidate's degree in 1973. He has published numerous articles, studies, patents, etc.

    He has held various positions in the Hungarian Association of Measurement and Automation (MATE) since 1962: for a long time he was deputy secretary general and then co-chairman. Since 1981 he has been the editor-in-chief of the association's journal, Measurement and Automation. He has been involved in significant public life.

    Among his numerous awards, the bronze degree of the Order of Merit for Labor (1988) stands out.
