    Between 1981 and 1984, as a research physicist at the United Incandescent Research Institute, he worked on the measurement of tokamak plasma density with a methanol laser in the KFKI research program. He earned his doctorate in quantum optics and molecular physics at the ELTE TTK. Between 1989 and 1993, he was the deputy director of the Robotics and Automation Center of the United Incandescent Lamp and Electricity Co.
    Between 1992 and 1994, he was a scientific advisor at the Institute of Informatics and Automation of the University of Veszprém (VE).

    From 1993, he was an associate professor at the Bánki Donát Technical College, the legal predecessor of Óbuda University (ÓE), and then from 1997, a college professor.
    Between 2009 and 2012, he was the director of the University Knowledge Center for Transport Informatics and Telematics at Óbuda University, and then in 2012/2013, he was the director of the Bejczy Antal Robotics Center. In 2011, he was appointed as a university professor at Óbuda University.
    Between 2013 and 2019, he was a university researcher and director of the Innovation and Service Center. From 2020, he is the head of the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics.

    In 1997, he won the Széchenyi István Professorial Scholarship. In 2022, the NJSZT recognized his work with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
