    He spent most of his teaching career in higher education. He taught physics, mathematics, and computer science at the Nyíregyháza Agricultural College (NYMF) in the positions of assistant professor, assistant professor, and associate professor. After the integration, he continued his teaching work at the Nyíregyháza College (NYF) until 2013 as a college professor, teaching the subjects of Artificial Intelligence Applications, Linear Algebra II, Database Systems, and Informatics and Electronics.

    His most important projects: between 1987-1990, the "Establishment of an IBM PC educational laboratory and course training" project - with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Central Statistical Office. between 1989-1992, the establishment and launch of the Computer Engineering training course at the NYMF. between 1997-1998, "Introduction of INTRANET Technology in Higher Education Administration" - a program supported by the Higher Education Program Financing application. in 2000, the implementation of the "Development of Network Infrastructure OM2000" - a program supported by the Ministry of Education. between 2001-2003, the "Fuzzy Clustering on the WEB with JSP Technology - on the Debian Linux Server" project. Finally, the management of the "Robot Intelligence" subproject of a Social Infrastructure Operational Program (TIOP) VEKTOR application under the colors of the NYF.

    He carries out his talent development and care work as the secretary and then president of the Szabolcs-Szatmár Bereg county organization of the NJSZT. In 1999, he defended his PhD thesis entitled “Theoretical foundations and practical application of Fuzzy cluster analysis in the evaluation of crop production experiments”.

    Since 1981, he has been an organizer of computer science clubs and competitions for students aged 10-18 in both public and higher education. Since 2007, he has founded and managed the Robotintelligence scientific student club in connection with the international RoboCup project. The introduction of RoboCup Junior (RCJ) of the RoboCup youth leagues in Hungary (HRCJ) is undoubtedly his merit.

    Awards: János Kabai Award (MTESZ Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, 1986); MTESZ Award (Association of Technical and Natural Science Associations, 2002); Neumann Award (NJSZT, 2007); Lifetime Achievement Award (NJSZT, 2018); Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit, Civilian Category (Hungarian State, 2023).
