  • After graduating from university, he worked as a software developer at the Budapest Construction Industry Management and Administration Office (FÜTI).

    In the second half of the 1970s, he was the deputy director of the Organization and Computer Technology Company (OKISZ SZSZV) of the National Council of Industrial Cooperatives (formerly: National Association of Small-Scale Cooperatives, OKISZ); he was mainly involved in the introduction of production support systems.

    He managed the utilization of R20 machines at both FÜTI and OKISZ SZSZV. He utilized his previous experience in operating systems for IBM mainframe systems during the introduction of the ESZR (Unified Computer System) operating systems.

    Later, as the leader of the Association of Computer and Organizational Enterprises (SZSZVSZ), he was an active advocate for the establishment of its successor organization, the Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ).

    Between 1984 and 1990, he led Softinvest Rt., a pioneering enterprise in domestic software trading.

    Between 1990 and 1993, he was the CEO of Controll Számítástechnikai Kisszövetkezet, and then from 1994 onward, of Microsystem. From 1995, he retired from operational management and managed his businesses at the owner level.
