  • In 1967, he began his professional career as a maintenance engineer at the Infelor Systems Technology Company, fitting computer peripherals, and then, during reorganizations, he became a developer of remote data processing software at the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki) and the Computer Applications Company (Számalk), and the head of the CF-52 Remote Data Processing Applications target program. In addition to managing team work in various domestic and KMST client projects, he worked in the positions of department manager, department manager, and then director of the Systems Development Office until 1990.

    During this time, between 1970 and 1972, he worked on computer system communications at the Tohoku University Electronic Communications Research Center as a scholarship holder of the Japanese Ministry of Culture, and then in 1978 as a research fellow at the CII (Compagnie Internationale pour l'informatique, France) on computer networks.

    Between 1990 and 1999, he served as Service Manager and then Global Service Operation Manager at IBM Hungary Ltd. His responsibilities included technical customer service, product training, network development, and management of complex customer projects.

    Between 2000 and 2010, he was the Head of the Technology and Infrastructure Competence Center for Developing Countries (Central/East Europe, Middle-East & Africa) at Compaq Hungary Ltd., and then successively at Hewlett Packard Hungary Ltd., and then Project Director in the telecommunications and government areas. Retired from August 1, 2010.

    Honors: Academic Award (MTA, 1980); Silver Medal of the Order of Merit for Labor (1983).
