György Papp

Since the early 1980s, he has been dealing with data security, IT security, and computer network protection, conducting research on the topic, publishing abroad and domestically. In 1995, he obtained the title of Candidate of Military Science with his dissertation on computer network protection.

Between 1991 and 2000, he worked in the Prime Minister's Office (MO), as a member of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Information Technology (ITB), where he was the professional manager of all ITB recommendations dealing with security.

Between 1992 and 2008, he was the national representative of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP) TC11, Information and Data Security Committee. He participated in the organization and gave lectures at numerous domestic and TC11 information security and data protection professional conferences. Program committee leader or member.
