Judit Mallász

After graduating from university, his workplace was the Central Telegraph Office of the Hungarian Post Office.

He began writing professional journalism in 1988. Over the years, he worked for numerous publications, co-founded and co-owned several of them: Computerworld, Heti Chip, IT Business, newsletters, IT and telecommunications supplements of daily newspapers, HVG, Magyar Távközlés, Gyártástrend.

In the mid-1990s, he participated as a project manager at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (VIK) of the Budapest University of Technology (BME) in a joint project with France Telecom within the framework of an EU grant, during which they prepared an English-language educational program on telecommunications management and marketing.

While editing the telecommunications supplement of Computerworld, he worked for three years at the VIK Health Industry Engineering Knowledge Center (website editing, translation of project materials, event organization) from 2010. He later became an external employee at Computerworld.

Companies and other institutions (e.g. BME VIK) regularly invite him to edit their professional publications and write articles. One of his works was editing a publication presenting the 70-year history of VIK, its departments and the educational and research activities conducted there. For ten years, he edited the special issue of Impulzus for high school students; for several years, he prepared booklets for Girls' Day. His articles are constantly published in printed magazines and their online versions.

Awards: IT Journalist of the Year (later named after Attila Kovács) award (NJSZT, 2008); Pro Facultate award (BME VIK, 2022).
