  • Between 1959 and 1991, his first job was at the Central Statistical Office (KSH) Computer and Administration Organization Company (SZÜV), where he was a group leader, then a department leader, a department head, and finally, as the director of the SZÜV Budapest Computer Center, he managed 230 people.

    His areas of work include computer-aided design of linear networks (PERT), programming languages (machine code, assembler, Algol, COBOL, Pl-1). He has presented on the topic of computer-aided design (CAD) at numerous domestic and international events; he has been the leader of various projects on this topic.

    Between 1970 and 1971, he participated as an expert in the development of the Central Computer Development Program (SZKFP).

    In 1971, he was a project manager in the design and implementation of the computer system for the UNESCO documentation system. At the same time, he was a lecturer in the subject of Computer Science at the Budapest University of Technology (BME), and from 1983 he was a member of the State Examination Committee.

    He defended his doctoral dissertation on the transformation of the SZÜV into a national computer network at BME in 1983.

    Between 1991 and 1996, he managed the development of computer systems for various clients at the Hungarian subsidiary of Electronic Data Systems (EDS).

    He was a member of the Mechanical Engineering Scientific Association (GTE), the Hungarian Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Hungarian Society of Organization and Management Sciences. He was active in the above societies, occasionally being a member of the management of certain clubs and working committees. He was also an organizer and speaker at conferences and colloquiums.

    His awards: Medal of Merit for Excellent Work (KSH, 1978); Gold Medal of Merit for Public Safety for developing the national crime statistics computer program system and managing the machine processing (1980); Bronze Medal of Technical Progress (GTE, 1980); Bronze Medal of Merit for Work (1986).
