Lajos Lukacs

Two years after graduating from university, he was a founding member of the MENTOR small cooperative, where he ran the IT office as a separate business. He developed and launched several successful products for banks and businesses, and then in 1991 he joined Integra Ltd., where he was a member of the team that developed the first Hungarian securities system.

He was already involved in expert systems and the application possibilities of artificial intelligence during his university years. At the end of 1995, he founded his own company, MIS Informatikai és Szolgáltató Consulting Zrt., in which he and his team implemented the first business data mining projects in Hungary.

In 1998, he founded DSS Consulting Kft., which quickly became one of the leading companies in the Hungarian business intelligence market. At DSS Consulting, the first Hungarian data cleansing and data quality assurance system was developed and launched.

He was a member of the Health Informatics Professional College from 2003 to 2011. In 2004, he founded the E-Health working group of the Association of Informatics, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ), which he led for 7 years. He has founded and financed several companies for the market application of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), mainly in the field of healthcare applications (medical diagnostics, telemedicine).

In addition to his work, he is happy to share his knowledge. He has taught and is teaching as a guest lecturer.
Management Information System (MIS) subject at the Budapest University of Economics (BKE) Management Training Institute (MBA and special courses), at the Budapest International Banker Training Center (on the topic of Outsourcing Risk Management), at the Budapest University of Economics (on the topic of Business Planning) and in innovation hubs as product development (Design Thinking) training.
