Tamás Laufer
He started his career as a software developer at the Videoton Development Institute (VIFI).
After winning a tender in 1991, he worked for 3 years at the IT company BULL in France as a development engineer, later as a project manager in a consortium formed by the world's most influential IT companies. From 1994, he worked as a director at the Hungarian company of Bull, dealing with the sales and management of banking systems.
Since 1995, he has been a manager at Andersen Consulting, where he first worked on the implementation of the MÁV transport management system and then on other strategic projects.
From 1996, he was the consulting director of Oracle Hungary, later the company's regional director, and finally the company's managing director in Hungary. Under his leadership, the company grew into a company with significant sales revenue, nearly tripling the number of employees.
At the beginning of 2002, he was the director of Magyar Posta and the chief advisor to the CEO. His task was to implement IT integration in the holding structure that was to be established at that time.
Since the second half of 2002, he has been the CEO of the Computer and Administration Management Company (SZÜV).
Since 2003, he has been the CEO of Albacomp Rt. Under his leadership, the company became a member of the Figyelő TOP 200 (2005).
Since 2006, he has been the president and co-owner of RacioNet, which has grown into one of the leading domestic system integration companies in just a few years.
Vice-president of the Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Electronics Enterprises (IVSZ) for 5 years; then president since 2010.
From 2004 to 2010, he was the vice president of the Fejér County Industrialists' Association. From 2010 to 2014, he was a member of the National Communications and Informatics Council, and from 2014, he was a member of the executive committee of the National Anti-Counterfeiting Board.
Since 2009, he has been the president of the Székesfehérvár Foundation for the Development (SZFA). They were the first in the country to establish a digital education and experience center integrated into the school curriculum and operating on the basis of equal opportunities, called Alba Innovár, where an average of five hundred students per month can learn about natural sciences in a 21st-century environment.
Since 2019, he has been the vice president of the Hungarian Innovation Association (MISZ).
In 2017, he was awarded the Széchenyi Award for Public Affairs. In 2019, he received the BME Pro Facultate Award for his work in IT education.
