István Lakatos

After graduating from university, he held a scientific scholarship for three years at the Computer Science and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (SZTAKI).
After that, he started working at the Instrumentation company, where he is still an employee today, even after its transformations and name changes. Initially, he was an engineer-sales representative, then head of the import department.
Since 1992, he has been the managing director of Műszertechnika Irodatechnika Kft., and since 2001, the CEO of the entire Műszertechnika group of companies. Since 2007, he has been the CEO and majority co-owner of - under its new name following its transformation: - Bravogroup Holding (due to its decisive role, the group of companies has been a significant player in the Hungarian infocommunication and office technology market for more than 30 years; it is one of the largest, 100% Hungarian privately owned enterprises in the country).

In 2004, Ernst & Young named him Businessman of the Year in the "Bold Innovator" category; in 2006, he received the Gyúrós Tibor Award established by the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ).
