  • From 1972 to 1987, he was employed at the INFELOR Systems Engineering Company and its successors, the Computer Applications Research Institute (Számki), and then at the Computer Applications Company (Számalk).
    In these jobs, he dealt with the theory and practical implementation of programming languages. Together with Árpád Bedő, he prepared the CDL (Compiler Description Language) compiler for the R-10 machine. With his encouragement and active participation, the language was used in several areas.
    He was the supervisor of the Ada translation program implemented within the framework of inter-institutional cooperation.
    He supported and disseminated the principles of object-oriented programming (OOP), and taught the Simula-67 language. His work SIMULA-67 Notes, published in the SZÁMKI Publications series in 1976, was a popular publication in its time.

    From 1977 to 1981, he worked as a second-year teaching assistant at the Department of Instrumentation and Measurement at the Budapest University of Technology (BME), and from 1985 to 1987, he was on permanent assignment at the Siemens company in Munich.

    In 1988-1989, he was a member of the ALL Computer Science Research and Development Cooperative, and in 1989-1990, he was employed at the INFORT Association.

    From 1990 to 2000, he worked as a freelancer and in his own company in software development. As a freelancer, he worked on software development in several object-oriented languages. In 1993-94, he developed his own OO environment and class library within the framework of the C language. This tool was still in use in several places in 2020 as part of a built-on insurance application.

    From 2000 to 2011, he was a member and then head of the Quality Assurance Department of Allianz Hungária Insurance.

    Since 2011, he has been working as a retired sole proprietor (2020 announcement).
