  • Electrical engineer (previously graduated from a mechanical engineering technical school)

  • After graduating from the mechanical engineering technical school, he worked at the Hungarian Optical Works as a toolmaker and then as a tool designer.

    After graduating from university, he began his engineering career at the Electric Automation Institute's factory in Eger, then continued at the Electronic Measuring Devices Factory in the computer service department as a service engineer. After a few years, he became the department head of the service department.

    His patent for "Method and apparatus for repairing defective magnetic disk packages" was registered in 1975.

    In 1989, he and his brother, Sándor Kürti, founded KÜRT Kft., primarily to repair faulty hard drives (winchesters). Based on the experience gained during the repairs, they developed a successful data recovery technology. The successes achieved laid the foundation for the transformation of KÜRT Kft. into a limited liability company.

    In 2009, Tabello, a free language learning system, was developed to help disadvantaged children learn languages. The system supports interactive online language learning, tests pronunciation, and provides native-level support for learning. The system is used with great success in several schools teaching disadvantaged children.

    Awards: Innovation Grand Prize (shared, 1994), Kalmár Prize (NJSZT, 1995); Lifetime Achievement Award (NJSZT, 2019).
