    After completing his university studies, he was an editor at the Economic and Legal Publishing House, a part-time employee responsible for applications at the Cybernetics Research Group (KKCS) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and then the head of the IT department at the Planning and Economic Institute of the National Planning Office (OT).

    He was a ministerial advisor to the Ministry of Finance, then the head responsible for the establishment of the Ministry of Finance's Computer Science Institute (PSZTI). After that, he was the head of IT applications at the National Leadership Training Center (OVK) (in collaboration with foreign experts).
    He was then the Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB), then the Head of the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Justice; CEO of Infopark Rt., and from 2004 he was an IT expert of the Hungarian Bar Association.
    At the above organizations, he was involved in the organization and management of macro-level IT processes.

    Candidate of Economic Sciences, member of the Public Administration Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

    He was a founding member of the National Institute of Information Systems and later the head of the Systems Organization Department for about 15 years. He represented Hungary in IFIP after the expiration of Iván Kádár's mandate. He was the founding head of the 8th Working Group on Public Administration Information Systems of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) TC, and then the IFIP treasurer until 1987.
    He was the responsible organizer of the first IFIP congress held in Hungary. He has been a speaker and discussion leader at numerous IFIP congresses.

    The Hungarian National Academy of Sciences awarded him the Neumann Prize in 1982.
