József Kovács
He started working at Volán Tröszt Elektronika and retired from one of its successors, Libra Software Development Company.
Between 1967 and 1970, he participated as a programmer in the development of national material accounting and other data processing programs for the Univac 1005 and 1050 machines for the then Volán companies.
Between 1971 and 1980, he was the head of the computer room, where he led the national processing from data collection to the return of the finished tables. From 1980, he managed the entire data processing process as a department head, then became a department head. Programming, the computer room and the technicians were under his supervision.
From 1983 to 1988, he was the deputy director of Volán Tröszt Elektronika. At that time, national microcomputer data processing and their programming and introduction - in addition to mainframe data processing - were established at individual companies. From 1988, he was director, and then from 1989 to 1995, he was the president and CEO of the then Volán Elektronika Rt. He also held the position of president between 1995 and 2005.
In 1995, he participated in the organization of the National Transport Pension Fund, of which he was also the chairman until his retirement in 2002.
After 2002, he remained a member of the Board of Directors of Volán Elektronika and Libra Software Development Co., Ltd.
