Csaba István Kovacs
He worked in various teaching positions at the predecessor institutions of Dunaújváros University (DE) from 1975 to 2005. From 1998, he was an associate professor and the head lecturer of the subject Database Management.
In 1998, he was commissioned to establish an independent IT service organization unit of Dunaújváros University (DUF), which he led as center manager and IT service director until the end of 2012. During his managerial assignment, he created a modern IT service infrastructure with the help of his colleagues, using numerous tenders and other grants. As a system engineer of the center, he performed wired and wireless network planning, the introduction and operation of network technologies in IT services, primarily based on Cisco technology. As a manager, he established a wide range of professional contacts.
It maintained an excellent relationship with the National Information Infrastructure Development Program (NIIF), which resulted in the establishment of a significant regional center of the academic network in Dunaújváros.
In 2008, he was the organizer and secretary of the Networkshop conference in Dunaújváros.
Since 2015, he has been a member of the board of the Hungarian Higher Education and Public Education, Research and Public Collection Computer Network Association (Hungarnet Association).
He has been retired since 2016; since then he has been involved in smart home design and the design and implementation of security systems.
He received a ministerial award for "Excellent Work" for his work.
