Márton Kósa
He began his university studies at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad State University (1967-1971), then completed his correspondence studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the József Attila University of Szeged (1973-1976).
Between 1971 and 1974, he worked as a programmer at the National Leadership Training Institute (OVK), and then at its legal successor, the Ministry of Labor Computer Institute (MÜM Számti).
Between 1974 and 1983, he worked as a computer scientist and later as a scientific associate at the Institute of Industrial Economics and Plant Management of the Ministry of Heavy Industry (NIM IGÜSZI) in the creation of the Prolog implementation led by Péter Szeredi.
Between 1983-89, he worked as a software developer at the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI) in the creation and porting of the MProlog implementation.
Between 1990 and 2003, he participated in the Geldhandelsprogram, Nokia converter, SILK and LOBO projects at IQSOFT.
- Hobbies: natural and programming languages, number theory, classical music.
- He takes care of the legacy of his father, György Kósa, as a composer, together with his younger brother.
- Created and maintains the website of the Nap-Kör Mental Hygiene Foundation
- In addition to advanced Russian, English, German, and French intermediate language exams, he reads in 6 other languages.
