    From 1998, he worked at the University of Agricultural Sciences of Debrecen for a year and a half; from 2000, he was a computer science associate and then a teaching assistant at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the University of Debrecen (DE).
    Since 2011, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen (DEIK), where he teaches, among others, the following subjects: Data Structures and Algorithms, Mathematical Foundations of Image Processing, High-Level Programming Languages 1–2 (procedural and object-oriented paradigm), Database Systems, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, High-Level Programming Languages 3 (functional paradigm), Informatics Competition Tasks. From 2013 to 2019, he was also a lecturer of the basic courses of programming subjects in the BSc in Engineering Information Technology program.

    He has been participating in the organization of the DEIK Regional Programming Team Competition since 2012, as the chairman of the organizing committee since 2013, as the "engine" of the event; he has also been an individual sponsor of the event on more than one occasion.
    In addition to DEIK's local competitions, it is also one of the organizers of the faculty and national rounds of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest), as well as the Sapientia ECN international programming competition in Târgu Mureș.
    For students in Debrecen and the Debrecen area, live and online IT talent development circles and summer IT camps were held every semester between 2018 and 2020.
    He is one of the authors of the textbook "C Example Library".

    His areas of interest and research include object-oriented and functional programming languages, applications of artificial intelligence, and current issues in computer science education and talent development.

    His awards: excellent employee of the DE (2006), ministerial certificate of recognition for his work in preparing high school students who successfully participated in the International Student Informatics Olympiad (2007, 2008 and 2014), excellent teacher of the DEIK (2008), certificate of recognition from the rector of the DE for his professional work (2018), Tarján Memorial Medal of the National Academy of Sciences (2020).
