Levente Koppány

After graduating from university, he first worked at IBM Hungary, where he dealt with hardware sales and consulting.

Later, he held a senior position at the Computer and Administration Management Company (SZÜV) of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), where he was the organizer, designer, and programmer of projects for large companies all in one person.

He also held a leading position at the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI), as an expert in business management applications. (Here his career intersected with Győző Kovács, who was his classmate at university.)

After that, he was a consultant at Finomkerámiaipari Művek, and then worked again at the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH SZÜV) as a consultant. He retired from there in 1993 – but worked for another year.

Between 1994 and 1995, he was employed by an American multinational company, Electronic Data Systems (EDS). After 1995, he occasionally took on jobs lasting a few months.
