Imre Kiss

He is a member of the Cybernetics Research Group (KKCS) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and later a professor at the Marx Károly University of Economics (MKKE). His work initiated the mass education of computer science at the university. He is the founder of the Department of Computer Science. He also worked on systems theory.

The Department of Information Systems at the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE) founded the Kiss Imre Study Competition in his memory in 2004. In 2011, they started a blog called the Tószegi Kiss Imre Tanítványai Társasága.
