János Keresztesi
He began his IT career at the National Computer Company (Számalk) in 1982. In 1991, he joined Digital Equipment Hungary as a salesperson, where he later became responsible for indirect sales.
From 1995, he was the partner relations and then indirect sales director of Oracle Hungary for nearly four years. From 1999, he was the managing director of the domestic subsidiary of Sun Microsystems for more than five years, where he was twice elected the most successful manager in the European region. From 2004, he was the CEO of FreeSoft Plc.
In 2008, he started his own business: he founded CrossInfo Hungary Kft., whose main profile is business and IT consulting. In 2012, he founded Ad Valorem Kft., which organizes professional events, primarily IT conferences.
Since 2005, he has been a member of the board of the Association of Information Technology Enterprises (IVSZ), representing hardware and software vendors in the domestic market, while he was the president of the organization between 2008 and 2010. Since 2013, he has been a member of the board of the Hungarian Oracle Users Association (HOUG).
Awards: Enterprise of the Year 2006 (Hungarian Venture and Private Equity Association, 2006); Most successful Country Manager of Sun Microsystems in Europe (Sun Microsystem, 2003); IT Manager of the Year (IVSZ, 2001); Year of Indirect Sales Manager in CEE region (Oracle, 1996).
