Education, professional qualification:
  • Electrical Engineer - BME - 1966.

  • Between 1954 and 1962, he worked as a measuring engineer at the Electronic Measuring Devices Factory (EMG). In the meantime, he obtained a technician's and then an electrical engineering diploma. First, he was the head of the factory's instrumentation service, then the production engineer of the EMG 830 computer, the head of the installation and service department. From 1968, he was first the head of the Quality Control Department (MEO) in the Computer Factory Unit, then the head of the Installation and Service Department. Meanwhile, in 1970, he spent a month and a half in France, at the CII factory in Toulouse, in connection with the takeover of the CII license machine.

After the choice fell on Videoton (not EMG, but) within the framework of the Unified Computer System (ESZR), the factory was reorganized in 1971. In 1973, the Enterprise Department was established under his leadership, whose task was to find the previously sold machines of the EMG 830, and then to develop a new profile after the computer technology profile was dropped. In this context, he initiated and managed the development of EMG's - the first in Europe - microprocessor CNC machine tool control, the result of which was the HUNOR CNC family, which was sold in thousands of copies. In 1978, as deputy development director, in addition to developing products, his task was also to develop technology to increase their reliability. In 1986, he was elected CEO.

He managed EMG's work as CEO between 1986 and 1991, and then as the local representative of the liquidator until the company's dissolution in 1994. He retired in February 1995.

He was the founding president of the Hungarian Electronics and Informatics Association, then the president of the Hungarian Instrument Industry Association and the Machine Tool Programming Association. He is a member of the Hungarian Association of Engineers and Engineers.
