Between 1957 and 1968, he was a senior research fellow at the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI) of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In the 1980s, he worked as a designer, developer, and professional manager in the fields of nuclear instrumentation, then digital instrumentation, and later computer technology.
After the MTA KFKI, he was a senior fellow at the Hardware Laboratory (HWL) of the Computer Science Coordination Institute (SZKI) for many years.
His last job was Duna Elektronika Számítástechnika Kft., founded in 1995, where he was the technical director for many years.
