  • After graduating, he did a corporate internship at the Metalworking and Plumbing Company as an organizational manager. In 1977, he obtained a construction industry corporate organizer qualification at the Further Education Institute of the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development (ÉVM TK).

    Of his professional activities, nearly forty of the 50 years spent working were spent dealing with public administration IT applications (state administration and local government IT).

    From 1975 to 1988, he managed and coordinated the organizational and IT activities of the sector at the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development (ÉVM), until its dissolution. His scope of work included IT applications for business management and technical design, application development for technological process controls, and computer support for ministry management.

    From 1989, during the regime change and afterwards, he was an active participant and coordinator of the administrative IT developments supporting the division of labor in the Ministry of the Interior (MoI). Within this framework, the MoI was transformed into a civil body, and the IT activities of the MoI and the organizations it coordinated were defined and integrated into the new government division of labor. In parallel, between 1989 and 1992, he managed and coordinated the IT of elections and referendums.

    From 1993 to 1998, he managed and coordinated government IT applications as Head of the IT Coordination Office of the Prime Minister's Office, Chief Government Advisor, and then Deputy State Secretary. During this time, he managed the work of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on IT as Secretary and then Chairman, and performed the secretarial duties of the Government Committee on IT and Telecommunications.

    Between 1998 and 2000, he supported public administration IT application developments from the entrepreneurial sphere.

    From 2000 to 2006, he managed and coordinated the IT activities of judicial processes and organizations as the head of the IT department of the Office of the National Administrative Services Council (OITH).
    In 2006, he briefly managed and coordinated the IT activities of activities and organizations managed and coordinated by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    From 2006, he ended his active work as a manager at the Hungarian Official Publishing House, then at the LSI Informatics Education Center Foundation for the Culture of Microelectronics Application, as the maintainer and chief strategic advisor of the Harsányi János College, where his outstanding activities were recognized by the College Senate with the title of Professor Honoris Causa in 2011.

    He was a lecturer and subject manager at ELTE, ÉVM TK, the College of Public Administration, and the Perfect Teaching Center. He also served as the chairman of the state examination committee at several higher education institutions dealing with public administration IT.

    He has written over fifty articles for professional journals (including two professional Nívó Award winners). Among his publications, two books stand out: “Business Planning and Organization” and “Public Procurement Guide” (both co-authored). He has given lectures at over a hundred professional events and conferences.

    He has actively participated in the work of domestic and international professional organizations. He has held leadership positions in the Organization and Management Scientific Society (SZVT), the Construction Science Association (ÉTE) and the organizing committee of the National Geospatial Information Conference series. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Gábor Dénes College (GDF), the HUNGIS and the ECDL foundations.

    His awards: Bronze Medal of the Order of Merit for Labor (1987), Sectoral Award for Excellent Work (1979, 1984), Ministerial Award (BM 1990, 1991), Neumann Prize (NJSZT 1994), Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary (2005).
