    From 1969 until his retirement, he was an employee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Computer Science and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI). He first worked on computer process control and linear systems.

    From 1972, he became the Institute's scientific secretary, and in this capacity he was responsible for international relations and the main organizer of scientific conferences, which were mostly international.

    At the initiative of Tibor Vámos, the then director of SZTAKI, the world congress of the IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control), which was held every three years at the time, was organized in Budapest in 1984, where he was the secretary of the organizing committee. His effective participation greatly contributed to the success of the congress: experts from all major industrial countries participated in the congress.
    After that, he was one of the secretaries of the organization for 20 years.

    In 1999, he also played a significant role in organizing the first World Science Conference convened by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Council for Science (ICSU).

    After his retirement, he worked for the scientific conference organizing company Scope Kft., established jointly with SZTAKI.
