Since 1980, his students have reached the finals of the Irinyi János Secondary School Chemistry Competition every year, where they have won several first places (1989, 1995, 1996). They have been among the top 10 in the National Secondary School Chemistry Competition (OKTV) several times (his student who won 1st place in 1998 won a gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad that same year). With the launch of the eight-grade high school education, his students also compete in the Hevesy György Chemistry Competition and the Curie Environmental Science Competition.
He has been a member of the competition committee of the county and national finals of the Irinyi János Secondary School Chemistry Competition since 1981. He regularly participated in improving the exam data of the Irinyi János Secondary School Chemistry Competition and in the development of IT education.
He has reported on the experiences of the faculty system introduced in the 1980s several times in professional training courses and in the journal Zalai Oktátás. He was the organizer of a TUDOK conference, county-level preparation for the high school diploma, and talent management.
In 1990, he and his colleagues established a foundation to support chemistry and biology subjects, of which he has been the chairman of the board of trustees ever since.
