He became interested in computer science while still a university student. One of his teachers was Árpád Dettrich, under whose influence he worked at the Information Processing Laboratory (Infelor) during the summer holidays; he continued to work there after graduation. Among other things, he participated in the development of the miniCobol compiler program.
As a teacher, he taught computer science at Berzsenyi High School.
He was a talented software developer who died young.
