  • Electrical Engineer - Budapest University of Technology - 1962. (Instrumentation and Precision Mechanics)

  • In 1962-1971, as a development engineer at the Electronic Measuring Devices Factory (EMG), he participated in digital development in the technological development of cube circuits and in the introduction of the EDS 6000 developed from them into series production. In 1965, as a technical and professional deputy of the Custom Automation Department, he led the design and implementation of large digital equipment (some projects: collection of electrical network status data; power plant data collection system; block controller service for the EMG 830 computer; automatic calling of telephone stations and transmission of short audio messages).

    From 1971, he was an assistant professor, then associate professor, at the Department of Computer Science of the Kandó Kálmán Technical College (KKMF); between 1978-1985 - at that time: - he was the deputy director of the Institute of Computer Science.
    Until 2000, he was involved in teaching subjects dealing with peripherals within the field of digital technology, designing and developing thematics. During this time, he worked on the establishment of a microcomputer operations engineer further training application laboratory, while creating a physical model for the Fuzzy laboratory. He created a materials science textbook (with co-author Bertalan Pélyi) for the high-current and low-current majors.
    After 2000, he worked on peripherals and multimedia devices at the successor institution, the Budapest Technical University (BMF); he produced electronic textbooks on multimedia technology. He retired in 2008.

    Since 2007, he has been a member of the Multimedia in Education (MMO) department of the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences; he has organized MMO conferences - also within the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences. He was a permanent member of the NJSZT MMO conference.

    For his work, he was awarded the NJSZT Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
