Gyula Gajári
Between 1967 and 1970, he was a development engineer at the Semiconductor Application Technology Laboratory of the United Incandescent Lamp and Electricity Co. (Tungsram), and then group leader of the Fluorescent Tube Development Laboratory.
From 1970 to 1989, he managed the development of data processing systems at the Computer Technology and Organization Center of the Hungarian Broadcasting Industry Association (later Comporgan System House Joint Stock Company) as a group leader, senior program designer, export manager, and then commercial director. He was intensively involved in the organization and implementation of software export work.
Between 1970 and 1976, he managed the development of industrial data processing systems, and then between 1976 and 1978, he led the Austro-Olivetti (Vienna) project.
Between 1979-1981 he was a consultant and project manager at Philips Kommunikations-Industrie AG (Siegen, Neuss), and then between 1982-1983 at Diebold Deutschland GmbH (Frankfurt/Main).
Between 1983 and 1985, the first parameterized integrated hospital information and management system was developed under his leadership at HC GmbH (Munich), for which he was the responsible manager from design to implementation in several hospitals in Germany (this was approximately 100 man-years of development).
Between 1989 and 1992, he was the representative of the Computer Application Company (Számalk) in Germany (Frankfurt/Main).
Between 1992 and 2006, he was acting managing director of the consulting firm and software house Hospital Computer GmbH (Munich).
Since 2007, as a retiree, he has provided occasional management advice and consultation (free of charge).
He received several awards for his work.
