Andras Gabor

He is a lecturer at the Marx Károly University of Economics (MKKE). In 1983 he obtained the title of candidate of organizational sciences at the Budapest University of Economics (BKE). In 2002 he habilitated at the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE). He is an associate professor at BCE.

He has worked in the organizational unit dealing with the education of business informatics at BCE and its legal predecessors under various names since 1974. Between 1987 and 2007, he was the head of the Department of Information Systems, and between 2013 and 2016, he was the director of the Institute of Informatics. He participated in numerous domestic and international projects.

His main research areas are information management, IT audit, process management. He is the author or co-author of several international and Hungarian publications and books, and the editor of several domestic study volumes. The number of his publications is more than a hundred.

Award: Presidential Commendation (MTA, 1986).
